As I browse the web for information I like to dive through different blogs and find older post that i have not read yet.
Today as I was searching through and found old interview of David Allen, The founder of the Getting Things Done (GTD) system, I am sure you have heard of him as his system was released in 2002 and is still talked about today, by sites like lifehacker.
In any case in this interview he mentions a key concept.
“Your head is for having ideas, not holding them.”
Which to me is the true essence of the GTD system. To me this says that if you are repeating an idea in your head more that 1 time then you either have to make it happen write it down or you need to get rid of it.
You should not clutter your head with the same ideas over and over, you should be creating new ideas.
Simple yet straight forward, think it, write it down and then make it happen.
