I found a very good looking bench today on the web made by diggoryrush on instructables, my interest in this one is how the legs and the flat piece connect and slip in. I may make a similar table main concern is its stability the joints between the leg and the flat section would need to be done right to avoid and rocking.
As I was reading the instructions I saw how he got a pretty bad cut during the build, safety first as always although I have been in his place and had an accidents when trying to take a short cut, its good that he shows what could happen if your not careful.
In any case the toughest part of this DIY is having the right tools to build it, I can definitely be done by hand but it will take allot of effort. Another option for getting the white look is to use a hard white veneer laminate like nevemar as the painting takes allot of effort.
