A couple of weeks ago my wife and kids went to our oldest sons school to help out with cleaning and painting. I saw their was a old bench under a tree and asked what that was.
The principal (I believe it was the principal) said it was the buddy bench, I had to ask what that meant and she said “it’s a place for the kids to hang out or meet up”, inherently I thought if a kid asks another to sit at the bench then you are buddies, what a easy way to make a friend. Maybe they should make a forgiveness bench, you know you are not getting along with someone and you sit and you are then forced to forgive.
In any case I signed up to build a replacement and made one this weekend I like how it turned out, still need to add paint and some finishing touches. What are your thoughts? What kind of bench would you want to make.
