Simplicity in design by Curtis Micklish

Simple design usually catches my eye. In this case this stool designed by Curtis Micklish shows how the combination of steel and walnut can deliver a clean simple looking piece of furniture.

I usually gravitate to straight lines and this design has it as the straight sections of the wood connect to the bends of the steel top. The highlight which is just the slight detail that makes this a bit more appealing are the grooved lines which gives the impression of separate pieces coming together to make the top section of the stool.
